Someone just sent me this fantastic article (The author emailed me and gave me the updated website of his article) about Michael Moore's propaganda film Fahrenheit 9-11. It's over thirty pages long including the sources list, but a fantastic read! Go ahead, print it out, get yourself a cup of Java (or maybe rum!), sit back, relax and enjoy a very interesting dissemination of how propagandists wield their lies and try to convince people to believe things that are simply not true. For example, someone mentioned to me the statistic "Saudi Arabia owns 7% of the US" but in this article - which has almost 150 footnotes referencing other sources - it is shown "the Saudis represent 4-7% of the percentage of total 'foreign investments' in the US" ... which is a VERY small amount. It's a very VERY interesting read!
